HAVE WE FINALLY HAD ENOUGH?

We shall see on November 2nd. Will it be a day of retribution or reward? Will we send the message to Washington that we are fed up with what they've been feeding us for years (more likely decades), or will it be praising their ability to feed us odor-free BS?

For all you liberals suffering from anosmia out there, the odor is overwhelming! The current House and Senate have approved more "pork" than Sarah Lee's "Jimmy Dean" division! Our Congress has so many hogs satiating themselves at the public trough, that it is overrun with weenies! As Senator Everett M. Dirksen once opined, “A billion here and a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money." If you can't smell the stench of corruption emanating from Washington D.C. then your olfactory has probably been nationalized by the administration.
I laugh every time I hear the phrase "House (or Senate) Ethics Committee". The Congress, as a whole, is totally unethical! Selling their votes to support Obama's national health care fiasco for a few million dollars in pork. What kind of people vote in support of anything in which they don't believe? "Sheeple". People without convictions - people who don't stand up so they won't stand out. Who sells their vote for some down home pork? Political whores. Who sees the bigger picture and supports only that which is good for the United States and it's citizens? The smallest of political minorities. Who voted to provide Welfare recipients with FREE CELL PHONES AND AIR TIME EACH MONTH? The same people who voted against a Cost Of Living Allowance increase for senior citizens (who worked all their lives providing the government with tax dollars to waste on Freebies for Freeloaders). The Obama Administration is all about tax, borrow, and spend. And they spend like the proverbial "drunken sailor". Are they spending money they have earned themselves? NO - of course not! They're spending money you and I have earned, but the government has claimed as their "due" through taxation. Have they shown any responsibility to the taxpayer through judicious use of our hard-earned tax dollars? Not just no, but Hell no! It's a continuous round of "I'll buy into your pork, if you'll buy into mine". Have they forgotten that they are charged with the protection of the United States of America and not just their little piece of it? Apparently so. But, that is the liberal socialist-progressive, Marxist approach to governing.. as opposed to governance. Governing is a process of controlling the people. Castro "governs". Saddam Hussein "governed". Robert Mugabe "governs" Zimbabwe, just as Kim Jong-Il "governs" North Korea, and as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei "govern" Iran. Governance is the act of governing the process of government.

The USA has never had a less competent President than Barack Obama. His lack of ability has become obvious to all but the most entrenched Demobots. He is bankrupting our nation, and he has - in effect - nationalized two-thirds of the U.S. automobile industry, the entire financial industry, and has purchased enough Congressional votes to pass an unwanted national health care bill. He is buying the right to socialize our nation, and he is doing so without much opposition from the House and Senate. He has stacked the deck against the citizenry, by putting liberal-progressive Marxists, and avowed Communists in power positions in every branch of our government, including the recent appointment of two Muslims to directorships in the Office of Homeland Security!!

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE, AMERICA!! The Republic is being hijacked by those who would convert us from a Democratic Republic into a socialist-Marxist state, and they are doing so following the guidelines of the Fabian Society (aka "the Socialist Society") - "The Fabian Society has played a central role for more than a century in the development of political ideas and public policy on the left of centre. ...the society's programme aims to explore the political ideas and the policy reforms which will define progressive politics in the new century." November 2nd provides those of us who truly care about the course our government has taken during the last 19 months with an opportunity to stop the progressives "progress". Those of us who have served in the US armed forces, did not serve in order that the principles of our founders could be circumvented by the socialist-progressives. Our oath was "to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States", not to any other cause or individual. Will we, as a nation, continue to support the undermining of our Constitution by one man and his appointed political cronies? I certainly hope not. But then, I didn't believe that we as a people would have been stupid enough to elect a freshman Senator - with less than 6 months experience - to the highest office in the land, either. There is only one way Congress will get the message...

ON NOVEMBER 2ND DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY INCUMBENT THAT VOTED IN SUPPORT OF NATIONAL HEALTH CARE!

Replace them with the candidate of your choice - Democrat, Republican, Constitutionalist or Libertarian - affiliation makes little difference, but do vote for somebody who truly CARES about the fate of our once-great nation! The message we are sending is one of, "We the People will no longer support those who do not support the Constitution as written!"

and those people would be absolutely correct! But let's not stop there... I am anti-anybody who would take steps to destroy our Republic and change it into a European-style socialist state. I stand against anyone who would introduce economic policies that will reduce the United States of America economically to the status of some Third World Banana-Republic Dictatorship! I am absolutely against anybody who spends our tax dollars frivolously - by supporting those who wish us nothing but harm; who bows to a Muslim king while failing to observe the same courtesy when granted an audience with a Christian queen; and also who snubs - and tries to dictate foreign policy to - our enduring allies.During these hard economic times I am totally UNsupportive of anyone who spends $73,000 of hard-earned taxpayer money for a "date night" in New York City, who rents a 28 acre Martha's Vineyard summer vacation estate for $50,000 a week, and who then hypocritically condemns "lavish lifestyles" and "saddling the rich with higher taxes".

Obama's motto seems to be, "There are some things money can't buy... and for everything else, there are taxpayers!

If our elected officials are half as smart as they think they are, they will vote for increased Unemployment Benefits - most of them will be needing those benefits after the November 2, 2010 elections! And, under "Reason you left your last employer:"... put the word FIRED!

What Will It Take To Return The USA To Its Intended Course?

We are on the banks of the Rubicon - that "point of no return" at which the Republic can be lost for the foreseeable future, if not lost forever! Should the current administration be permitted by We the People to continue on its present course, it will be a future of darkness, decline, and despair for our children and grandchildren. What can we as individuals do to redirect our government?

In a nutshell we must CHANGE THE SYSTEM FROM THAT WHICH IT HAS BECOME. And just how do we do that?

1. November 2nd, 2010 is election day. About half our national House of "Representatives" and 30-odd national Senators are up for re-election. DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY INCUMBENTS! They apparently have not understood our written requests, made using the English language, nor have they paid any attention to the poll results regarding Obamacare, or to the Tea Party activities, or the Town Hall Meetings. It is crucial that we communicate with them in a way they will understand - at the voting booth. Remove all the incumbents from office, and perhaps the remainder will finally understand our message.
2. TALK IS CHEAP! As we have known for decades - or perhaps centuries - the vast majority of politicians are professional liars. Lies, untruths, mistruths and technical omissions are their stock-in-trade. They will tell each audience addressed during their campaign, tailor-made lies designed to garner the majority of votes from that group of voters. For one group it may be "White is the new black!", and for another "Black is the new white!". Adapt the message to suit the desires of the audience. In order for our intended system of governance to be resurrected we must replace the incumbents with proven conservatives. And not just those who claim to be conservatives. We must replace them with politicians with documented, consistently conservative records. If there are none running in your district then it becomes a "best guess" situation, but do not re-elect incumbents! This is primarily those Democrats who sold their votes (Nebraska's Ben Nelson, Ohio's Kucinich - a really CHEAP date, etc.) and those Republicans who sold out the American people (Louisiana's Anh "Joseph" Cao, etc.). They have proven by their actions that they are not representing the will of the majority of voters. Also, see how many working-class candidates you can vote into office (see paragraph 5, below).

3. Procedural Changes in Congress. Bills may be written by anybody - as is obvious in so much of our legislation, which makes so little sense. But a bill must be introduced into the legislative process by a member of Congress. From the time of introduction the bill then follows a rather circuitous route within Congress to committees, hearings, debates, etc., in both the House and the Senate. That's all fair enough, I suppose... insuring that the bill is (ostensibly) properly reviewed prior to acceptance or rejection. But there is a problem in the procedure - one that is known but never acknowledged within that legislative body. If a bill passes the hearing stage it then goes for "markup", and this is where the problem lies... markup is where the AMENDMENTS are placed in the bill. The problem is that amendments that are totally unrelated to the issue(s) addressed (I call them "hitchhikers") by the bill are - more often than not - attached to the bill. When was the last time a bill establishing a military budget passed that only included things related to the military? Hitchhikers for education, welfare, bridges to nowhere, and aircraft that the military neither requested, nor wants, nor needs are attached to the bill! A bill should pass or fail on its own merits, or be rejected in the next step of the process and returned for reconsideration if it contains requests that are unrelated to the basic intent of that bill. Bills should also be of reasonable readability in both language and length. If it takes more than 50 pages to say what you want then there is something terribly wrong. If it takes more than 100 pages somebody is trying to pull a fast one. More than 200 pages, and the sponsor should be required to defend the bill in open session, and be subject to censure and a fine for wasting the time of our legislature. When it takes more than 50 pages to ask for something that is truly needed, then the bill is rife with smoke, mirrors and earmarks. Congress should follow the KISS rule - Keep It Simple, Stupid - and NO HITCHHIKERS!
4. Eliminate access to Congress by professional lobbyists and special interest groups. One team of no more than three entity-employed volunteer representatives PER INDUSTRY or UNION would be acceptable, with no budget allowance other than employer provided transportation and lodging reservations, and reimbursable food expenses not to exceed $50 per day. Such restrictions would certainly impede, if not eliminate, the buying of Congressional favors.

5. Take the government back from Big Money. It should be obvious - to anybody that is not comatose (or already deceased) - that our elected officials are incapable of representing the working-class in a responsible manner. Would you spend millions of dollars to get a job that pays $174,000 per year? Not if you had any sense. Perhaps campaign spending limits of $350,000 for State legislators would level the playing field, and make it possible for a working-class candidate to actually get elected. If one couldn't raise that kind of money for their campaign then they probably shouldn't be running for office. After all, it's just $2,000 more than the job pays in 2 years, and would only be an average of a $5 contribution from 70,000 people.

Once upon a time, our Congress was composed of volunteers. These volunteers were men who so believed in our Republic that they worked to establish it without pay. (In 1813 they granted themselves a pay of $8 per day... paid only for the days which they actually attended to the business of the government.) Originally they were men of some learning, but mostly men of native intelligence, common sense, honor and the courage of their convictions. Open and vigorous disagreement and debate was commonplace. There was no strict party affiliation at the outset, rather, separation among Americans was primarily along philosophical lines, rather than party loyalties. Most were what we would call "Independents" today. (The earliest American political parties were the Federalists and the Republicans. George Washington declined labels, but was philosophically aligned with the Federalists, as was John Adams, Washington's VP and his successor as the 2nd President of the United States of America. The Republicans became the Democratic Party in 1828, with the Federalists becoming the Whigs in 1840 [having consumed the supporters of the Anti-Masonic Party in 1838] and finally morphing into the Republican Party in 1856. Yes, it did become a bit confusing back then.)
Our government has become an all-consuming Behemoth, that repeatedly ignores the expressed will of We the People. Government is nothing more - or anything less - than a necessary evil, of which WE are - Constitutionally - the masters... yet the government ignores our commands and turns upon us. The Obama regime goes so far as to label those citizens who would have the government follow the Constitution - upon which our nation was founded - as "terrorists" and "anarchists". Perhaps no government is better than unresponsive government, and perhaps those labeled as "terrorists" by the liberal left "progressives" are recognized as "patriots" by the conservative right.
OUR NATION WAS NOT FOUNDED ON A PHILOSOPHY OF "REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH" OR "SOCIALIZED" ANYTHING. IT WAS FOUNDED UNDER THE CONCEPT OF GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS - INCLUDING THE RIGHT OF ALL CITIZENS TO REAP THE BENEFITS OF THEIR OWN LABORS -

INDIVIDUALLY!

In the words of Thomas Jefferson: "God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."
Manure is what Washington has been feeding us for decades. Let us tell them we're full - and we will have no more of it!

Are We As DUMB As Our Elected Representatives THINK We Are?

Hav yu goten thee impreshun that hour politishuns thenk We the People ar stoopid? We seem to provide genuine proof of that opinion by our voting records. We repeatedly put the same worthless people back into office, even after they have shown their disdain for what the people who put them into office really want.

If our politicians were half as smart as they think they are, they would be serving their constituency rather than "servicing" them. Obama just finished his "Health Care Summit", loaded of course, to his advantage - 20 Democraps and 17 mostly RINOs (Republican In Name Only). There was no discussion... simply a lecture by The Chosen One, laying the blame for his failure to move Obamacare through the House and Senate at the feet of the Republican party. That's politics for you! The Republicans are reflecting the true desires of the majority of Americans - we do not want or need a socialist takeover of health care by the Government. It is not cost effective, it will increase taxes. It will result in longer waits for treatment and, in some cases, the wait will be too long. It will cover those who are not citizens of this country, most of whom - if working at all - are working for "cash under the table", and are therefore not paying into the system. It will overtax our existing medical workforce, resulting in qualified medical personnel leaving the field, placing an increasing burden on those who remain, resulting in even longer waits for medical treatment.
Many doctors have said they would give up the practice of medicine should Obamacare become law. More government interference is not the answer to our health care issues. Tort reform is a partial answer. Severe reductions in the cost of medical training is another partial answer. Reasonable (40% - standard retail markup) profit margins on medical supplies and equipment would reduce expenses, which should reduce patient costs. Allowing the sale and purchase of health insurance across state lines would increase competition, and should therefore reduce premium costs. Including small businesses in large "Group Plans" thereby reducing premium costs. Insurance companies should be responsible for covering preventive care - which may cost them only a small fraction of what corrective treatment would cost.

I am a recipient of Medicare now, having paid into it almost all my working life, and continuing to do so in retirement. My personal physician recently put a letter out to all his patients the general thrust of which was: Doctors lose money on every Medicare patient they treat. This is true throughout the state OMA, and the national AMA. If national health care becomes a requirement I will have to cease treating Medicare and Medicaid patients.
I may be carrying that statement to the wrong conclusion, but it appears to me that although we will have Medicare coverage, we seniors will be unable to get treatment under it. What is the practical difference between that and being uninsured??
Then we will have millions more without usable medical coverage - which we will probably continue to be charged for via Social Security deduction. Where is the gain in that?

CAN YOU HEAR US NOW, WASHINGTON?

Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts over Martha Coakley sent a loud, clear message to Washington D.C. this week - one that could have been heard by the entire student body at Gallaudet University. In case some of our elected officials weren't listening I will spell it out for them -

"WE'RE MAD AS HELL, AND WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANY MORE!"

The seat occupied by Ted Kennedy (D-MA) for almost a half-century was won by a republican. In the past 6 months, the Democrats have lost every noteworthy special election in the country, yet Obama has failed to take heed and make a course correction... or has he? His goal hasn't changed one bit. His destination is exactly the same - socialism forced down the throats of Americans! What has changed is the amount of pressure he puts upon the accelerator.

Have you ever wondered why Obama is in such a hurry to get things done? Have you asked yourself why legislation consisting of thousands of pages - that nobody will take credit for drafting - is passed without having been read by the House or Senate? Have you not puzzled over why Obama is spending us into fiscal oblivion? Stevie Wonder could see the answer to those questions, and, like so many of our fellow citizens, he may be loathe to admit it - even to himself. EVEN OBAMA RECOGNIZES THAT HE IS ONLY A ONE-TERM PRESIDENT (if his luck holds out)!

Obama has proven himself to be a totally unqualified captain of our "Ship of State", but he is well-qualified for his real job... which is to scuttle her. (For those of you who may not be familiar with the nautical term "scuttle", it means" - 1 : to cut a hole through the bottom, deck, or side of (a ship); specifically : to sink or attempt to sink by making holes through the bottom 2 : destroy, wreck; also : scrap) He is blithely joined in this act of national piracy by his crew of underlings - who control both the House and the Senate. The cargo in the hold of our Ship of State is PORK.

Anonymous legislation gets passed simply because of the Democrats super majority, which translates as "We have all the votes we need to pass those bills without a single 'conservative' vote" being cast in favor of it. A super majority is essentially nothing more than a politically partisan dictatorship.

Creating crises is what Obama is about. It's perfectly in line with the Cloward-Piven Strategy (see my 7/13/09). Create crises and diversions, overload the system, collapse the government, then remake the nation in the desired socialist image.

Rather than go against Obama, Democrats in Congress are retiring, resigning, "walking the plank" (committing political suicide by supporting Obama and going against the expressed wishes of their constituents) and/or "jumping ship" (changing party affiliation).

November isn't that far away - remember what we have seen from the Democrats control of our government thus far and vote accordingly.

Four BILLION Dollars in Legislated PORK!

Would that it were possible, we should impeach the entire National Legislature and the Obama Administration from the "Czar" level and the Cabinet, to the occupant of the Oval Office itself! Our government blatantly continues to try to dig its way out of this financial crisis, by spending our tax dollars on Congressional and Senatorial pet projects in their home states! ATTENTION WASHINGTON - IT IS A WELL-KNOWN FACT THAT WHEN YOU CONTINUE TO DIG A HOLE IT JUST GETS DEEPER AND DEEPER!

The outrageous $1.1 TRILLION ($1,100,000,000,000) budget the Democratically-controlled Congress passed today contains over $4 BILLION in pork projects! These can't be the same types of pork projects that Obama said he would never sign a bill containing during his campaign, can they? Apparently, Washington D.C. has an African lion in the National Zoo, and a lyin' African in the White House!

As if that's not bad enough... Congress must soon raise the debt ceiling, now at $12.1 trillion, so the Treasury can continue to borrow! Democratic leaders are eyeing a new figure close to $14 trillion, pushing the issue past next November's election. Right now, at $12,115,000,000,000 every U.S. taxpayer is on the hook for over $111,000 in tax burden! And do you understand this: THAT FIGURE IS NOT STATIC - IT IS INCREASING BY THE SECOND! When our elected "representatives" fail to heed our cries of dismay, frustration and anger, are we truly represented? "Taxation without representation is tyranny!"

This ever-deepening, man-made financial crisis requires that the government borrow money from communist China, and the more we borrow the deeper that hole becomes, making the dollars you may have in your bank account worth less each day. This erosion of personal "wealth" makes the argument for a "global currency" much more attractive to Joe Average. The government has essentially nationalized the automobile industry, the financial markets, and is pushing for control of health care. The essential function of any government IS CONTROL! How better to gain that control than by increasing the dependence of the citizens upon it for most needs? (Although I agree that most corporate CEO's are overcompensated [especially those that have ridden the corporation into the jaws of bankruptcy] in the extreme, I do not think that government should be involved in setting the limits of their compensation. Only those executives that have built their company from the ground up should be entitled to obscene amounts of compensation - they EARNED it! All the others are nothing more than overpaid managers... hirelings... employees brought in to perform a specific function, and whose true value is nothing more than a small percentage of the profits they bring to the corporation. If they put the company in the dumper, then they get nothing. If when they leave, the corporation is failing, they get nothing. No golden parachutes, no stock options, no multi-million dollar separation compensation, nothing - NADA, ZERO, ZIP, ZED, GOOSE EGG, NOTHING!)

This coming November the majority of Congressional "representatives", and about 35 Senators, stand for re-election. If we do not make our displeasure known then, in the only terms they will understand, then we deserve exactly what they will continue to exert upon us - GOVERNMENT CONTROL. We will have proven ourselves unworthy of our Constitution's guarantees, and we discredit our founders and the hundreds of thousands who have died to establish and maintain freedom. We will get those...
Throw the bums out! Refresh the "tree of liberty"... and use plenty of water to restore the roots. They've been badly burned by decades of pure manure without any real nourishment!

Pink Slips to Congress - Hear The Voice of The People or File For Unemployment

The wake-up call that began with the Tea Parties on April 15th, continues. Over FIVE MILLION "pink slips" have been sent to members of the house and Senate, putting them on notice that we will not allow them to remain in office if they fail to heed and respond to the unified voice of the people.

At a cost of almost $30 per person, 5,000,000 Americans anted up to send the above to all members of Congress - individually and collectively. If that doesn't get their attention, nothing will.

Remember those who are willing to sell out our sovereignty as a nation, our Constitution and our people as you vote during next years elections! Let THEM enjoy the "rewards" of unemployment. For decades our legislators have ignored the expressed will of the people in favor of the desires of corporate America and PAC lobbyists, and it is time we ignored their desire to continue to live on our taxes. The reason our laws have become so complex, and almost impossible for Joe Average to understand, is because they were made by lawyers! To my way of thinking, this is like having a pack of jackals providing security for a hen house. Perhaps we need to get rid of all the lawyers, and replace them with working class folks who would restore some common sense and sanity to our laws.

I could be wrong about this... and we could have a genuine American in the White House. What are the odds...
