HEALTH CARE REFORM FOR DUMMIES!

I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but this "health care reform" seems a bit out of kilter to me. If it was made by Bally's the "Health Care Thrills" pinball machine's TILT light would be flashing and the buzzer would be blaring loudly! Here's what I see as the best way to get health care costs under control - with very little actual government control:

We begin at the source of skyrocketing health care costs - the pharmaceutical companies, and the medical equipment manufacturers -
  1. Pharmaceuticals (prescription drugs) in the US cost anywhere between 3 and 10 times what the same drugs are being sold for in both the northern and southern parts of North America (for those of you who failed geography, that's Canada and Mexico). And, in 3rd World, or "developing" nations, the disparity becomes even greater! Why is it that the USA gets to pay the premium price for necessary medical supplies when they are created within our own borders? Because the PharmCo's think we can afford the outrageous prices, and that we should pay for all their R&D. Granted, Research and Development of medicines is an expensive proposition, but why do Americans have to bear those costs alone? And why do the PharmCo's seem to believe they should recoup those expenses in the first 6 months of sales? Those costs are passed on at your neighborhood pharmacy as well as at your local hospital. Why does the same Band Aid, or USP formula aspirin that sells for $4.00 per hundred at Rite Aid or Wal-Mart, cost you $5.00 per pill on your hospital bill? Because those of us who actually pay our medical bills (with or without medical insurance), pay our medical bills... and we foot the costs for those who do not!
  2. Medical equipment costs are horribly expensive, and no hospital is considered a hospital these days if they don't have a CT Scanner or MRI Scanner. R&D costs to develop safe and effective medical equipment are at least equal to those of the pharmaceutical industry. Where is it written that being a manufacturer of anything is cheap? A "decent" Magnetic Resonance Instrument (aka Magnetic Resonance Imager) costs your hospital anywhere from $1 million to $3 million, and a top of the line MRI is even more than! How much profit is in those prices, after including R&D and marketing costs? I could only find one figure on that, and it was $800,000... but there was no posted figure on at which price-point the system sold.

Now, consider that registered nurses (RN) nationwide with 2-9 years experience, on the average, are being paid between $22 and $32 per hour, and the average MD earns $171,000 per year. These factors all drive the cost of health care upwards. Medicines are necessary, and when you really
need medicine it's probably worth whatever the cost, as are the hospital equipment and personnel. However... when the practical value of something exceeds it's affordability, most people are caught "on the horns of a dilemma". Among the uninsured there are
    generally only three options:
    1. Do without treatment and suffer the consequences.
    2. Get the treatment and pay the bill off at $10 per month for the rest of your life.
    3. Get the treatment and say to yourself, "Illegals don't pay for treatment, why should I?", and then don't pay the bill - making the cost of treatment for those of us who DO pay our medical bills even more expensive.

Those of us with private medical insurance are generally thankful for it when we need it, and most of us can - and will - handle even the most expensive of deductibles when given a reasonable
period of time in which to pay it off.

Then we have those who don't worry about health insurance - the rich and famous. For the most part these people (the Rockefellers, Morgans, Tom Cruises and Elton Johns of the world) can afford to be "self-insurers" - sitting on their hordes of money until they find a practical need for it.

Finally we have that group which breathes the rarified air of Washington D.C. - our elected officials. They have no vested interest in reforming health care, inasmuch as they pay for nothing when they become ill. Our Congress has the sweetest health care plan in the world... and WE pay for it! Don't we all wish we had jobs where we could vote for our own pay and benefits packages like our Congress does? Why would they be concerned about "what is best" for the rest of us?

Do we really need our government, which failed in their attempt to operate a combination brothel and bar in Nevada a few years back, to run our health care system? Seized by the IRS for tax delinquency, our government geniuses managed a previously very successful and well-known brothel into bankruptcy. How incompetent must one be to fail at selling sex and alcohol?

If you have read this far you may be asking yourself, "Okay, Mister Smartypants, what needs to be done?" And my Pollyanna-ish answer would be (here's where the government gets involved, but in a structural sense, rather than an administrative one), let our Congress pass legislation requiring that :
    1. If you want to "cap and trade" something, cap the costs of medicines. Global pricing would be a good first step, rather than Americans paying anywhere from three to fifty times more than people in other parts of the world. Why should we,
alone, bear the burden of paying for Pfizer or Lilli's R&D costs? And "because we can afford it" is an unacceptable answer!
    2. Medicine and medical equipment must be made available to the community at a reasonable cost. My "law" would require that profiteering in medical supplies and equipment end immediately. The profit margins on medical supplies, equipment and services would be held to the generally accepted retail figure of 40% of production and delivery costs.
    3. The government would NOT be involved in the day-to-day administration of any health care plan, much less create a national health care plan. (Our government has ruined the Social Security program into which we all pay, and now they want us to let them run another program into the ground with our money? I would guess that the majority of us are stupid enough to let them get away with this BS "pie in the sky" dream of Obama's.)
    4. Immediately eliminate any and all taxpayer funded medical treatment for non-citizens! If they don't belong here legally - other than in jail for violating our border - they are entitled to exactly nothing.

These ideas would be just the beginning, not the be-all and end-all answer, to reforming our health care industry. Everything needs a starting point - I'll leave the details to somebody smarter than I.

I could be wrong about this... but it just seems like common sense to me.

It's All A Matter of Perception - We Tend to See What We Expect To See

Here are two web headlines from two different news organizations talking about the same situation. First, on the positive side we have the Associated Press with:
"Bank of America earns $2.4B, ahead of estimates" Good job AP, you've given a lot of people hope for an improving financial picture!

And then we have Reuters News Service with this negative take on the same bank:
"Bank of America credit losses soar, profit falls". What are you trying to do, Reuters?? Are you trying to scare people into a "run" on our already weakened banking system?

Is this simply a case of "the glass is half full" vs. "the glass is half empty" - optimist vs. pessimist? Or, is it a cultural matter... one of American perceptions vs. essentially European perceptions of the same events?

Reporters are no different from the rest of us, in that they tend to see what they expect to see.
The true difference is that reporters can only report an event in the manner which their publisher (owner) sees that event. And most publishers have strong political connections. Why? Simply because they do have the power to control the determination of that which is considered newsworthy, and that which is not. Our job is to then determine which of the reports is lying to us... the least. Chances are that neither of them is giving us an unbiased view of the situation.

I don't think that's what our founding fathers had in mind with the First Amendment's right to "freedom of the press". I'm sure their idea was to insure the press was free to report the truth, as opposed to some modified version of "the truth". But, that's what we get when we address things in a general sense, instead of being specific about our desires.

I could be wrong about this... and Barack Obama could be a "natural born U.S. citizen". What are the odds for either statement being true?

Obama and The Cloward-Piven Strategy

The subtitle for this post should be "How To Destroy A Capitalist Economy And Remain Under The Radar". I first became aware of the Cloward-Piven Strategy today. To say that its goals are disturbing would be an major understatement. The thrust of it is this - the strategy's goal is to bring about the fall of capitalism by overloading and undermining government bureaucracy.

Like most people, I had never heard of either Cloward or Piven, or their destructive strategy. Developed in the mid-1960s by Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, two Columbia University sociologists, much of their strategy was drawn from Saul Alinsky, Chicago's notorious revolutionary Marxist community organizer. Alinsky, who was also a mentor of Hillary Clinton, wrote in his 1989 book Rules for Radicals: "Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system's failure to "live up" to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist "rule book" with a socialist one."

The mechanics of the strategy are a bit more complicated. The supporting tactics include flooding government with impossible demands until it slowly cranks to a stop; overloading electoral systems with successive tidal waves of new voters, many of them bogus; shaking down banks, politicians in Congress, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development for affirmative-action borrowing; and, now, pulling down the national financial system by demanding exotic, subprime mortgages for low-income Americans with little hope of repaying their loans. These toxic mortgages are an important source of the foul smell engulfing the entire financial bailout.

The socialist test case for using society's poor and disadvantaged people as sacrificial "shock troops," in accordance with the Cloward-Piven strategy, was demonstrated in 1975, when new prospective welfare recipients flooded New York City with payment demands, bankrupting the city government. As a consequence, New York state also teetered on the edge of financial collapse when the federal government stepped in with a bailout rescue.

No matter where the strategy is implemented, it shares the following features:
  1. The offensive organizes previously unorganized groups eligible for government benefits but not currently receiving all they can.
  2. The offensive seeks to identify new beneficiaries and/or create new benefits.
  3. The overarching aim is always to impose new stresses on target systems, with the ultimate goal of forcing their collapse.
Here's a diagram of the Cloward-Piven Strategy, including Barack Obama's involvement, that I borrowed from SharpRightTurn.com:

(The only addition I would have made to the above diagram, would have been to include, by name, the ACLU within the block labeled "Communist Party USA & Other Radical Socialist Groups". The ACLU had, as one of its co-founders, Roger Nash Baldwin (January 21, 1884 – August 26, 1981) who was a noted social activist who held Communist views in his youth, yet continued to promote a Socialist agenda. He was the ACLU's executive director until 1950.)

Once you have the name "Cloward-Piven Strategy", there is a plethora of information available on the Internet. How has this apparently intentional plot to destroy that which made the USA great, managed to avoid discovery by the mainstream media? Wellllll... it didn't exactly. The Washington Times had an article on C-P back in October of 2008, but if you didn't get the Washington Times that day - which is probably 90% of the country - I can't recall ever seeing it in print, or hearing about it on any of the broadcast media. Can you say "complicit coverup"

Blogs - including this one - are not a particularly reliable source of "news". They are, instead, a source of personal analysis (i.e. - opinion) of the news which has been reported. The purpose of my blog is not necessarily to educate people (although there are many who could use educating), but to prompt folks to think about what's going on around them, and then form their own conclusion.

Be Afraid... be VERY AFRAID! "Big Brother" Bill - Part II

Senate Bill S.1261, also known as the PASS Act, is little more than a re-write of the previously unsuccessful REAL ID act. Here's the latest information on exactly how easy it is to track you under this egregiously intrusive act. The following is quoted from Yahoo! Tech, referencing an experiment conducted, and an article written by, TODD LEWAN, AP National Writer - Sun Jul 12, 2009 6:10AM EDT:

"Climbing into his Volvo, outfitted with a Matrics antenna and a Motorola reader he'd bought on eBay for $190, Chris Paget cruised the streets of San Francisco with this objective: To read the identity cards of strangers, wirelessly, without ever leaving his car.

It took him 20 minutes to strike hacker's gold.

Zipping past Fisherman's Wharf, his scanner downloaded to his laptop the unique serial numbers of two pedestrians' electronic U.S. passport cards embedded with radio frequency identification, or RFID, tags. Within an hour, he'd "skimmed" four more of the new, microchipped PASS cards from a distance of 20 feet.

Increasingly, government officials are promoting the chipping of identity documents as a 21st century application of technology that will help speed border crossings, safeguard credentials against counterfeiters, and keep terrorists from sneaking into the country.

But Paget's February experiment demonstrated something privacy advocates had feared for years: That RFID, coupled with other technologies, could make people trackable without their knowledge"

The artice then goes on to say, "But with advances in tracking technologies coming at an ever-faster rate, critics say, it won't be long before governments could be able to identify and track anyone in real time, 24-7, from a cafe in Paris to the shores of California.

On June 1, it became mandatory for Americans entering the United States by land or sea from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean to present identity documents embedded with RFID tags, though conventional passports remain valid until they expire.

Among new options are the chipped "e-passport," and the new, electronic PASS card — credit-card sized, with the bearer's digital photograph and a chip that can be scanned through a pocket, backpack or purse from 30 feet.

Alternatively, travelers can use "enhanced" driver's licenses embedded with RFID tags now being issued in some border states: Washington, Vermont, Michigan and New York. Texas and Arizona have entered into agreements with the federal government to offer chipped licenses, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has recommended expansion to non-border states. Kansas and Florida officials have received DHS briefings on the licenses, agency records show."

I posted a previous warning about Senate Bill S.1261 here on July 6th, 2009. This report appears to substantiate my expressed concerns over such deviously deceptive devices. If you are unfamiliar with those concerns I suggest you read that posting.

And remember... for each "technological advancement" there is an equal but opposite counter-technology advancement to exploit it.

There's still an outside chance I could be wrong about this... but the odds of that are dwindling rapidly!

Conspiracy Theories Abound - Part II

I posted a kind of "quick and dirty" Introduction To Conspiracy Theories a few days ago. I have since stumbled across a couple of items of which I was previously unaware. I am choosing to share these two seriously conflicting positions with you today.

IF there is any truth to this, it should get our immediate attention!
On the other side of the coin, we have Glenn Beck. For those of you who may not be familiar with Glenn Beck, he is considered to be relatively conservative, quick to point out the shortcomings or our government, and a bit to the right of center in his personal views.
This is only Part I of the interview - the unasked question at the end was (essentially) "Is this 'concentration camp' in the United States?", to which the Popular Mechanics researcher answered, "No. It is in North Korea". If you are interested the second part of the Beck video interview is at:
Which do you believe? (Try to evaluate the information with the logic of your mind, not the desires of your heart... which is always easier said, than done. And, you may want to keep in mind that the government which fears it's citizenry, could be engaged in activities which justify those fears!)

Kick Them ALL Out!! It's The Only Way To Get Their Attention

"They" do not listen to us. Even when the voice of the people rings loud and clear, "they" turn a deaf ear toward us. Should we pity them for their handicap? No... their handicap is a chosen one, not a birth defect or the result of an accident, and it is selectively applied. They cannot hear us because they are listening to the din created by big business owners and big business lobbyists. And the din is created by the repetitive clanging of those "thirty pieces of silver" for which they have sold out "We the People". Who are "they"? Our elected representatives... those whose job it is to insure that the will of the people is enforced.

And yet, we re-elect them time and time again! We are being systematically starved of our Constitutional rights because we allow them ignore the Constitutional "menu"! They put on the "Roman Circus"... but instead of feeding us bread and wine, they think we can live on pork and bull. What is wrong with us? Are we as blind as our Congress is deaf, or are we simply too distracted by the Roman Circus to notice? Have the smoke and mirrors of Washington so misdirected you that you cannot see the disappearing act they are perpetrating upon your Constitution? There is only one thing "We the People" can do about it - REPLACE THEM ALL!

And, yes - we will undoubtedly wind up with the same type of representatives - the same greedy, lying, manipulative, "I'm so important" types - but perhaps the new batch would be enlightened by the actions of the people actually expressing their will! Supposedly, our representatives are the servants of the PEOPLE, not the other way around. Do we need them to build self-aggrandizing monuments to themselves - like bridges to nowhere bearing their name, or anything else unneeded by the general population? Pork is fattening! If you don't believe that, just look at the ever-increasing waistline of our government.
Where is the equity - the fairness - of our government representatives, who have the power to approve their own pay raises (outrageous amounts of money for what they actually do for us) and their own benefit packages (they aren't concerned about national health care killing us off - they have insured they are immunized against it).
It is for the above reasons that I recommend you at least take a look at - http://www.kickthemallout.com/ - "A practical and powerful way for us to take control of Congress away from special interests once and for all". And remember... 2010 is an election year!

I could be wrong about this... but I'm not!

Be Afraid... be VERY AFRAID! Senate Bill S.1261: "Big Brother" Bill

Senate Bill S.1261, also known as the PASS Act, is a rehash of the previously failed REAL ID Act. This egregiously intrusive act is in committee now and, if passed, will open the door to -

1. Participation in an internationally compatible biometric identification system for all Americans. This would allow you to be identified in any country, by any government, in the world.

2. It may require a "National Driver's License" which, although not openly stated in the bill, may include an RFID chip (Radio Frequency Identification Chip). The RFID would allow your movements to be traced by any goverment, in any country in the world! (It is rumored that without the RFID, people will no longer be able to buy or sell necessities, get medical treatment, etc... which smells strongly of burning sulfur - as in "the mark of The Beast".)

Although neither of the above actions is specifically stated in the wording of S.1261, the wording does not prohibit such actions. Government never fails to take full advantage of any legal loophole, and now there is a left-wing supermajority in Congress. How much do you trust your government? If there's any question in your mind, ask a Native American how well those government treaties worked out for them.

This is a less-than-obvious attempt to circumvent the 1st, 4th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America, and an unnecessary intrusion into our right to personal privacy. Between the potential for biometric ID, and the RFID chip, and the nation-wide improper use of our Social Security Number, we subjects could be tracked anywhere in the world! The Federal Driver's License will be an intrusion upon "States Rights" - rights guaranteed to the states by the 10th Amendment: "powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." What other potentials are there in a bill like S. 1261? Does it sound like we could be moved a few steps closer to a One World Government?

Prior to the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, several states had used SSANs as their drivers license number. The law went into effect on December 17, 2005, and applies to all licenses, registrations, and state identification cards issued after that date. Under federal mandate, state DMV's are now refusing to issue or renew a driver license unless one provides their social security number, but it is no longer allowed to be used as the drivers license number. This expanded use of the SSN intrudes into one's privacy and jeopardizes one's credit, personal safety and financial security. There is an increased potential for abuse by government. Another concern is that these federal standards are being imposed in an area which has always been under state control, creating a de facto national ID.

The issuance of a single, unique number to Americans raises the risk that the SSN will become a de jure or de facto national identifier. This risk is not new; it was voiced at the creation of the SSN and has since been raised repeatedly. The SSN was created in 1936 for the sole purpose of accurately recording individual worker's contributions to the social security fund. The public and legislators were immediately suspicious and distrustful of this tracking system fearing that the SSN would quickly become a system containing vast amounts of personal information, such as race, religion and family history, that could be used by the government to track down and control the action of citizens. Public concern over the potential for abuse inherent in the SSN tracking system was so high, that in an effort to dispel public concern the first regulation issued by the Social Security Board declared that the SSN was for the exclusive use of the Social Security system. However, try getting anything without giving your SSAN to the requesting party. You need to surrender it for telephone service, utilities, to get a credit card, medical service (thank you HIPPA) or to get a mortgage, etc. It has already become your de facto National ID.

Many medical providers are using the SSN as a patient identifier, thus hardening the number as a de facto national identifier. As David Miller noted in testimony before the National Committee on Vital Health Statistics:

"It should be noted that the 1993 WEDI [Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange] Report, Appendix 4, Unique Identifiers for the Health Care Industry, Addendum 4 indicated 71% of the payers responding to the survey based the individual identifier on the Member's Social Security Number. However 89% requested the insured's Social Security Number for application of insurance. Clearly the Social Security Number is the current de facto identifier..."

Unfortunately, not everything is as it should be. We are co-opted into exposing our SSN in order to get necessary goods and/or services, and our Congress has not made it illegal for anyone other than the Social Security Administration and the IRS to require revealing our SSAN.

Who wants a national ID card? How about Senator Charles "Chuck" Schumer (D-NY)? Schumer widely takes credit for getting the first mass amnesty passed in 1986. He has worked with Sen. Kennedy (D-Mass.) ever since to ensure that immigration laws aren't enforced. Now he says that we shouldn't require E-Verify because it isn't tough enough? What he wants is a national bio-metric ID card. Big Brother is alive and well, and in the U.S. Senate!

S. 1216 is "in committee" as this Blog is being posted. The names of the Senators on that committee are:

Sen Akaka

Sen Bennet

Sen Burris

Sen Carper

Sen Coburn

Sen Collins

Sen Ensign

Sen Graham

Sen Landrieu

Sen Lieberman

Sen Levin

Sen McCain

Sen McCaskill

Sen Pryor

Sen Tester

Sen Voinovich

If you are a constituent of any of the above-named Senators, please telephone them at (202) 224-4524 (Senate Office Building), and voice your objection to this heretofore secret bill. You can probably guess WHY it was a secret! The lefties are in the majority now, and if you don't make your voice heard, tomorrow may be too late. For a "transparent administration" there sure is a lot of secret backroom legislation going on...

Conspiracy 101 - Conspiracy Theories Abound!

This is going to be a "quick and dirty" guide to conspiracy theories, for the person with a desire to know less than everything about those theories... a familiarization exercise. Everybody has their favorite conspiracy theory. And, for those who lack sufficient imagination to create one of their very own, there are numerous CTs available for them to buy into.

Among the most popular conspiracy theories are those surrounding the Bilderbergs, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Illuminati, the Skull and Bones Society, and the Trilateral Commission. There are many more... enough to make you extremely paranoid, especially if you believe 100% of what they each suggest. There are even those which put forth the idea that the Free and Accepted Masons (or just "Masons", as most of us know them) are a continuation of the philosophical and political line of the Knights Templar - eliminated with great prejudice (i.e. killed) by order of King Philip of France in 1307.

The Bilderbergs are comprised of about 120 of the world's most powerful and influential "movers and shakers", including (among others) ex-Presidents Jimmy Carter and William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton; Lt. General Keith B. Alexander, Director of OUR National Security Agency; Timothy Geithner, Secretary of the Treasury; David Rockefeller (also CFR), and Craig Mundy, Microsoft USA, etc., etc. The membership rolls read like a "Who's Who" of economics, education, finance, government, industry, media, pharmaceuticals, and technology! (http://www.scribd.com/doc/15684752/Bilderberg-Meeting-2009-Greece-Complete-Members-List)

The Council on Foreign Realtions includes such notables as - Ambassador Madeleine Albright, Walter F. "Fritz" Mondale, George Cabot Lodge, Irving R. Levine, Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard C. Holbrooke, etc. Another laundry list of over 4,000 international power brokers in economics, education, finance, government, industry, media, pharmaceuticals, and technology!

The Illuminati are probably the most secret of the "secret societies", and little is known about their existence prior to 1776. Credit is given to Adam Weishaupt, of Ingolstadt Bavaria, as the founder of the modern-day Illuminati on May 1, 1776. Theorists have claimed that many notable people were or are members of the Illuminati, including Winston Churchill, David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski. Although I don't know that anybody outside the Illuminati has ever seen an Illuminati membership list, the order does exist... at least in name, and in some form or another. Being technologically savvy and proficient, they even have a web site -(http://illuminati-order.com/join.html)

Most of us have heard of the "Skull and Bones Society" - if only by way of the 2004 motion picture The Skulls - but very few of us have ever experienced being a "Bonesman". Again, the membership at Yale University is elitist in nature, currying the male offspring of bankers, politicians, industrialists, lawyers, and assorted power brokers to take their "rightful place" in controlling society. Several generations of the Bush family were/are "Bonesmen", going back to George Ws grandfather, Prescott Bush (Yale 1917), and forward to uncles, father George H. and to Gee-Dubbya himself. This is where the networking begins and where alliances are created to further the ambitions of... whom? These people are not brought to Yale's Skull and Bones Society by accident. The Skull and Bones is a gateway... an investment of indoctrination in the ways of "the shadow world". It is a training ground for the power brokers of tomorrow. Inasmuch as it is a secret society I can only provide these vague generalities about its intent and mechanisms.

The Trilateral Commission - affectionately known as the "TriLats" - is another multinational NGO (non-governmental organization) which is responsible to no one... yet they exert influence over virtually everyone. Several hundred names comprise the membership, and I will list just a few of the more recognizable names representing the USA: former Ambassador and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright; George Herbert Walker Bush, former President of the USA; Zbigniew Brzezinski, former Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs; Richard B. "Dick" Cheney, former Vice President; Richard C. Holbrooke, Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan; Samuel C. Johnson, Director, Mobil Corp.; Thomas G. Labrecque, President Chase Manhattan Bank; Cyrus R. Vance, Director, Manufacturers Hanover Bank. And there are hundreds more from the USA and around the world!

Now, at the risk of boring you, here a a few quotable quotes from names you might recognize:
"The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes." Benjamin Disraeli, first Prime Minister of England, in a novel he published in 1844 called Coningsby, the New Generation

"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 LA Riot]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an "extraterrestrial" invasion], whether real or *promulgated* [emphasis mine], that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this *scenario*, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government." Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991

"In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all." Strobe Talbot, President Clinton's Deputy Secretary of State, as quoted in Time, July 20th, 1992.

"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had mens views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the Field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." Woodrow Wilson,The New Freedom (1913)

"We are at present working discreetly with all our might to wrest this mysterious force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local nation states of the world." Professor Arnold Toynbee, in a June 1931 speech before the Institute for the Study of International Affairs in Copenhagen.

By now you're probably wondering, "So, what's your point?" I tend to believe in the old adage, "Where there's smoke there's fire." As I said in beginning this post, there's a conspiracy theory for everybody, and when I play connect the dots the common thread connecting these CTs is a unified, secular, one-world government, with a world currency (I also infer a world military), controlled by a class of ruling elite. Here's my reasoning:
  • Each of the aforementioned organizations has one other thing in common - multinationalism. It is beyond my ability to believe that all these many nations are working for the betterment of each individual nation in its sovereign state.
  • The establishment of the European Union was the beginning of what I see as the final phase of creating the New World Order (we'll call that the "working title" for the Universal Global Government [UGG]).
  • The push for NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) is essentially a cloning of the EU economic experiment for the Americas - from Barrow, Alaska to Isla Herschel, Chile (off the southern tip of South America). "Trade" is not the only thing this agreement brings about... it essentially eliminates borders, and creates a single currency among the Americas (much like the Euro)
  • There is a concept in management called "span of control", which is shaped like a pyramid. This concept logically assumes that there are only so many things that one person can control. Lets look at it like a corporation - the higher up the pyramid one goes, the more responsibility they accumulate, but they also perform less actual "work". The CEO is at the top of the pyramid, beneath him are the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and beneath each of them are several Division Chiefs, who each have several Managers that they supervise, and so on down to the workers.
  • The UN is comprised of 192 individual and independent nation states, each with their own agenda to benefit their particular nation state. The "CEO" is the Secretary-General, and beneath him are the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Trusteeship Council, and the International Court of Justice, and finally we get to the General Assembly. However, the internal structure of the UN is relatively unimportant - what is important is its external span of control.]
  • The establishment of the European Union was seen as a social experiment by much of the world, and the EU has, thus far, been a successful one. What most people don't realize is that it actually began in 1951, as the European Coal and Steel Community with just six member states. Little attention was paid to the EU until January 1, 1999, when the euro was introduced to world financial markets as an accounting currency. Then, in May of 2004, ten nations joined the EU, which doubled its membership at that time. Today there are twenty-seven member nations in the EU, sixteen of which have adopted a common currency called the "euro".
  • The problem with mega-states, such as the EU, is that at some point in time, they will develop - due to their sheer numbers - the ability to control trade within a region. Controlling trade is an excellent recruitment tool, which allows them - through intimidation and the fear of being cut off and isolated from resources which the "outer nations" may not have - to consume even more real estate.
  • Let's return to the UN now. The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), being pushed by the UN, and strongly supported by the U.S. government is designed to "unify" the Americas in the EU fashion - turning it into a single, essentially borderless landmass, with a single currency and a centralized government. Think about how much easier it would be for a One World government to take control of 3 or 4 mega-states, than to gain control of 192 sovereign nations. The world would then become a dystopia, much like the ones presented in Fritz Lang's 1927 silent movie "Metropolis", Orwell's novel "1984", and Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451". If you'd like to scare the hell out of yourself, watch the movies made of all three in a marathon! I'm not saying that this will happen, only that the potential for such a scenario does exist if/when all the pieces are put into place.
  • Who better than the UN to then take apparent control of the world? I say "apparent" because we may never know who the real power is behind the apparent power. The truly scary part of the UN is that our left-wing loonies, most of whom worship at the temple of the United Nations in New York City, are supporting the following, extracted from the United Nations "Declaration of Human Rights" (emphasis added to Article 29 (3)):
  • Article 29.

    (1) Everyone has duties to the community in which alone the free and full development of his personality is possible.

    (2) In the exercise of his rights and freedoms, everyone shall be subject only to such limitations as are determined by law solely for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and of meeting the just requirements of morality, public order and the general welfare in a democratic society.

    (3) These rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.
  • Which brings me to my next scenario...
Suppose that there is even a modicum of truth to most - if not all - the established CTs. And imagine that the Bilderbergers, CFR, Illuminati, et al, are each operating under the assumption that they are the chosen ones. And suppose that there is an anonymous "puppet master" behind the scenes pulling the strings with promises of supreme power and control in the New World Order. Greed for power is a greater motivator for man than greed for mineral wealth, because with power one will gain gold, oil, gemstones or whatever the currency of the day may be. Will each of the groups be given a large chunk of geography? The Kingdom of Bilderberg? The Grand Duchy of CFR? The Principality of Illuminati? Perhaps. They may think they control huge parcels of land, but the real power will be reserved by the faceless, nameless, supreme manipulator(s) standing in the shadows.

And that is my personal CT - which, admitedly, is entirely based on supposition and conjecture. Connecting the factual dots in a purely "what if?" and "worst-case" scenario (being multi-national in organizational structure, I'm fairly certain that they are not all working to further the best interests of the United States of America.). There is certainly a possibility I could be wrong... but, the truly scary possibility is that I could be right!

Senate bill fines people refusing health coverage

According the the Associated Press... "WASHINGTON – Americans who refuse to buy affordable medical coverage could be hit with fines of more than $1,000 under a health care overhaul bill unveiled Thursday by key Senate Democrats looking to fulfill President Barack Obama's top domestic priority.

The Congressional Budget Office estimated the fines will raise around $36 billion over 10 years. Senate aides said the penalties would be modeled on the approach taken by Massachusetts, which now imposes a fine of about $1,000 a year on individuals who refuse to get coverage. Under the federal legislation, families would pay higher penalties than individuals."

Our misguided elected officials may call it what they will, but my opinon is that when we are fined if we choose to opt out of Obama's master plan to ruin our country, then it is just another TAX! The CBO is already calculating the "estimated fines" - to be used for what? MORE CONGRESSIONAL PORK PROJECTS??

As you may recall, one of the boards in Obama's platform was "No more pork!"... or was I the only one actually listening, while all you lefties were mesmerized by the Great Usurper? There's more pork in congress now than there is at all the deep-south barbecue pits combined!

When are "We, the people" going to get fed up with being robbed by our government? And, if you actually believe that more than about 5% of our elected representatives actually care about and consider your input on "the issues"... I have this swamp land in Florida I'd like to tell you about.

Dr. Kamau Kambon - An Intelligent, But Severely Delusional Man

Racial bias and hatred are not strictly the domain of white supremacists, like the KKK and Aryan Brotherhood, as evidenced by Kamau Kambon's harangue on October 14, 2005. (Perhaps Dr. Kambon should be the first person tried under our lovely new hate crimes legislation for "hate speech"... or is that charge specifically reserved for members of the clergy preaching against homosexuality?)

"RALEIGH‚ NC ¬ A Raleigh activist and bookstore owner told a panel at Howard University Law School on Oct. 14 that the solution to many of the problems faced by black people is the extermination of "white people off the face of the planet.” Dr. Kamau Kambon, who taught African Studies 241 in the Spring 2005 semester at North Carolina State University, also said this needs to be done‚ "because white people want to kill us.”

Addressing a panel on‚ "Hurricane Katrina Media Coverage,” broadcast in its entirety on C-SPAN, Kambon told the audience that white people "have retina scans, they have what they call racial profiling, DNA banks, and they are monitoring our people to try to prevent the one person from coming up with the one idea.

Prior to his call for acts of genocide against white people, Kambon, who owns Blacknificant Books in Raleigh, told the panel that‚ "we are at war.” He said that white people had set up an "international plantation" for blacks, which made "every white person on earth a plantation master.” He said that, "You are either supporting white people in their process of death, or you're for African liberation.”

He stressed one point in particular. "White people want to kill us. I want you to understand that. They want to kill you,” he said. "They want to kill you because that is part of their plan.”

Kambon closed his remarks by urging participants and C-SPAN viewers to "get very serious and not be diverted from coming up with a solution to the problem, and the problem on the planet is white people."

Before teaching at NCSU, Kambon was a professor of education at St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, a historically black institution. The Triangle, and a left-wing newspaper, The Independent Weekly, gave him a Citizen’s Award in 1999. Ironically, Kambon is also an opponent of the death penalty.

Propagating the "Final Solution”, his words are extreme, but Kambon does however make some interesting points. Lets not forget that similar views to Kambon’s also exist amongst those he condemns. Many White Supremist, Right-Wing and other groups argue similar points, but receive much less publicity. There is state sponsored genocide and segregation evident in places such as Iraq, Sudan and Palestine, while blacks are concentrated in the countless inner-city slums of the West.

Those words were uttered by Dr. Kamau Kambon while speaking to an audience Howard University Law School (and broadcasted by C-SPAN). Obviously, he felt quite comfortable sharing his views."

(There is little doubt that
Dr. Kambon's personal views on genocidal acts against white people made it into his classroom teachings at NCSU.)

Kambon is as nutty as was Hitler, or George Lincoln Rockwell (founder of the American Nazi Party), or Nathan Bedford Forrest (founder, and first Imperial Wizard of the KKK). There are haters of
all colors, ethnicities, cultures, philosophies and religions in the world. Luckily, they are in the minority in most cultures. Given the history of the black man throughout the world, some slight degree of paranoia is understandable. However, there are no remaining slaves from the Antebellum South, nor are there any "White Only" or "Black Only" signs publicly displayed throughout the modern south. We have more than one-half century of civil rights for black Americans, which followed about 90 years of emancipation
(quick head math, ± 10%)... but, it was emancipation with discrimination. No person should ever have thought they had the right to own another human being, or to treat them as lesser beings because of their skin color.

However, "mans inhumanity to man" has been with us since the beginning of time, and will probably remain with us until the end of time. In fact,
that concept may be responsible for bringing about the end of time! If you need further proof, just look at the condition of the world today - most of which is involved in conflict of one sort or another.

I could be entirely wrong about Kambon. His soul may be overflowing with "the milk of human kindness", and I just totally misunderstood his use of the phrase, "
the solution to many of the problems faced by black people is the extermination of "white people off the face of the planet.” He may have meant "exterminate" in the nicest possible way... but, I doubt that.
